About Aaron
Aaron Frank is a researcher and advisor with over a decade of experience working in Silicon Valley, where he most recently served as Principal Faculty at Singularity University. His work focuses on the business, governance, and cultural implications of emerging technologies, with particular emphasis on mixed reality and simulation-based environments.
Over the past ten years, Aaron has built, deployed, researched, and written about technologies related to augmented/virtual reality and virtual environments—his primary domain of expertise. In this capacity, he regularly advises large enterprises, startups, and public-sector organizations on technology strategy and long-term innovation, with clients including Ernst & Young, Sony, Honeywell, FC Barcelona, The Economist Group, and many others.
At Singularity University, Aaron has served as a co-facilitator and host of the organization’s flagship Executive Program, focused on the strategic impact of exponential technologies across business and society. He is also a frequent guest lecturer on innovation and emerging technology at institutions including Oxford University’s Saïd Business School and EY Tech University.
As a writer, Aaron’s work has appeared in publications such as Wired UK, Vice, Forbes, and VentureBeat, where he examines the intersection of technology, culture, and organizational change.
In addition to his professional work, Aaron serves as a volunteer and former board member at Saint Francis Living Room, a community kitchen supporting homeless and low-income seniors in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood.
Aaron holds a degree in Communications and Philosophy from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
